Getting started
Set up your first crossposting automation

Connect both accounts
Sign in to MicroPoster and connect the source and destination accounts. Authorize the connections through each network's sign-in flow.

Choose the direction
Create an automation with the account you publish from as the source. Select the account that should receive the copy as the destination, then activate it.

Publish and check
Publish a new post in your source app. After the next eligible check, review the destination and automation history. Try a media post or thread before adding more account pairs.
The controls behind each crosspost
Text adapted to the destination
MicroPoster formats text for the destination's limits and can split longer content into native threads. Each copy is a separate post with its own replies and reactions.
Supported media and threads
Images, videos and threads can travel with your post when the destination supports them. File sizes, formats and network limits still apply. Review the first result for the content you normally publish.
Plan-based check intervals
New posts are picked up at your plan's interval. Publishing is not instant. Account access, platform availability, media processing and remaining allowances can affect the result.
Keep individual posts local
Add #nocrosspost or #keephere to the source post, or a reply in its thread, to skip automatic crossposting. You can still choose to crosspost it manually from the dashboard.
Review before expanding
Start with one account pair. Check your links, mentions, media and thread breaks on the destination. Use the automation history to review what happened before connecting more workflows.
Do I have to write my posts in MicroPoster?
No. Automatic crossposting starts from new posts on your source account. You can keep publishing in the X, Threads, Bluesky or Mastodon app you normally use.
Can I crosspost in the other direction?
Yes. Create a separate automation with the accounts reversed. Each automation has its own direction. Start with one direction and check the result before adding others.
How quickly does automatic crossposting run?
MicroPoster checks for new posts at the interval included in your plan. Crossposting is not instant. Platform availability, media processing and your remaining allowance can affect when a post is published.
Can I keep a post on just one platform?
Yes. Add #nocrosspost or #keephere to the post, or a reply in its thread, to skip it in automatic crossposting. You can still crosspost it manually from your dashboard.
Will edits to the original update the copy?
No. Crossposting publishes a separate post on the destination account. Editing the original does not automatically update a copy that has already been published.
Do I need a credit card to try MicroPoster?
No. New accounts receive a 7-day trial under the Creator plan limits. A trial without payment details does not automatically become a paid subscription. Check Pricing for the current account limits and allowances.
