Set up Auto Repost

1. Choose Auto Repost and your account

Open Automations, select New Automation and choose Auto Repost. Pick the account whose own posts you want to repost.

This automation acts on that account. You do not choose a second destination. To send copies to a different network, use Auto Cross-post instead.

2. Select an interval and activate it

Choose an available Repost after option and review the account before saving. Make sure the automation is active.

The setting affects when the automation runs and which recent posts qualify. It is not a promise to repost every post at an exact age. Each eligible cycle makes at most one native repost.

3. Give a recent original post time to qualify

Auto Repost selects from your own recent posts. The lookback varies with the cadence, between one and seven days. Posts also need to satisfy the minimum-age rule.

Replies, reposts and posts already attempted by that automation are excluded. If nothing qualifies, the cycle can finish without making a repost. The automation does not rank your posts by engagement or recycle an evergreen archive.

• Check that the selected account has a recent original post.
• Allow time for both eligibility and the next automation cycle.
• Do not create duplicate automations to force the same post through again.

4. Look for the network's repost indicator

Check the selected account on the network. Look for its native repost indicator, or a boost on Mastodon, rather than a new post containing the same text.

In Automations, review whether the automation is active and when it last ran. A last-run timestamp alone does not prove a post was reposted; verify the result on the network. Pause the automation when you no longer want it running.
